I am a Bristol and Somerset-based gardener/ horticulturalist, working skilfully with gardens and the natural environment to transform your garden into what you have always dreamed of. Using over fifteen years of experience I design, re-design, manage and maintain a large variety of gardens and landscapes throughout Somerset covering areas: Wells, Pilton, Glastonbury, Oakhill, Chew Stoke, Chew Valley and surrounding villages.

Drawing my inspiration from our natural landscapes as well as landscapes and design from throughout the world, I love to harmoniously blend plants, flowers and trees and enhance gardens with the use of hard and soft landscaping and of course large doses of amazing inspiration!

How it Works

So how does the process work?

There are a number of different ways that we can go about creating your dream garden, using a wide range of different hard landscaping or soft landscaping techniques that will enhance your garden using trees and plants.

Initially we recommend making scale drawings of your garden so that you will have a clear idea of the planning process and have opportunity to make any changes before the work begins. Planting plans can also be drawn up to ensure that the right plants are chosen for you to suit the soil, aspect and of course your own personal taste.

Using my in-depth knowledge of working with gardens, we can also discuss various methods and a less formal approach to the re-planning of your garden. You may already have very clear ideas of what you would like to achieve and we can support the realisation of your concepts with our team of specialised experts so that the whole process is not only successful but enjoyable as well.

Gardening And Landscaping Services

We are all unique and our gardens reflect the usage of the space we have and also our own individual personalities and styles we can offer you a complete comprehensive service from conception to completion. the steps we take to achieve this include an initial visit to look at your existing garden, followed by a more in depth consultation, concept plan with mood board which enables us to share images to ensure we are on the same page, a scale plan can then be drawn and finally the actual physical completion of your new garden.

In recent years, I have diversified my skills using numerous methods of achieving desired results for my clients, we can see the project through from the start right through to completion and beyond with regular maintenance visits, this ensures your garden is cared for to the highest standard and is always a pleasant and enjoyable place to sit in or look out on to throughout the seasons.

I also take into account practicality and the different use of your outside space. I am also extremely knowledgeable around plants and trees and can give advice on your existing garden offering a wide range of ideas to suit your own individual taste.

As well as design, I carry out one-off garden tidy ups and offer regular maintenance contracts to ensure that your garden is cared for throughout the year to an exceptionally high standard and looks wonderful during all seasons.

I trained at Cannington Horticultural College where I had the opportunity to work alongside Head Gardeners at the National Trust.

In 2007, I launched my own garden design and horticultural business, initially starting in the city of Bristol and over time, through recommendations from clients, expanding into Avon and Somerset’s picturesque villages, towns and rural areas.

I live in the charming village of Wookey Hole just outside of the famous Cathedral City of Wells, and yes, you’ve guessed it…develop and maintain my very own cottage garden.
